Little System creates interrelationships between a collection of random found objects to represent the inummerable situational, transitional, and material permutations that construct the multiverse. The piece is a descendant of Duchamp's allegorical machines.

My Long View studies make use of found paper to describe Antarctic history, research, and environment. Study No. 6-7  celebrates Antarctic explorer and scientist Sir Tannatt William Edgeworth David, a contemporary of Duchamp who was conceivably aware of Duchamp's science-art experiments.

Long View Study No. 5 imagines the discovery of new species of Antarctic microorganisms that Duchamp might have delighted in. The parallels between Duchamp's early breakthroughs and the heroic age of polar exploration are many; both developed simultaneously, both created sensations in their day, and both used found material to creative ends”.                    Michael Bartalos
