Regard "Rehistoricizing Abstract Expressionism in the San Francisco Bay Area, 1950s-1960s" at the Luggage Store as a sketch for the exhibition it purports to be. For this original Holiday Tree; consummate, imaginative recycler Steven Lopez repurposed two found hoops of white 1/2” PVC tubing to create a double helix that makes up the Tree structure. The Tree is layered in same-colored ornaments, almost like a cake.
