David King. Born in 1937 in Sacramento, CA, David studied with Wayne Thiebaud at Sacramento City College in the 50s and again in the 60s at UC Davis where he earned his MA in Sculpture. He taught for 35 years at Diablo Valley College following a brief stint at UC Davis.
